Entrepreneurship and creative technologies

Boosting the promotion, networking and funding opportunities of the startups selected in the Sónar+D Startup Garden.

Objective

To give the selected startups the opportunity to enjoy a programme of activities aimed at boosting their business and their presence in the corporate world.

The relationship between MIGRATION and Sónar goes back a long time, thanks, among other projects, to the support provided by our organisation in the optimisation of digital assets. Within these collaborations, the creation of a business development space dedicated to startups became a necessity, so that they would be able to expand their knowledge and exchange experiences with professionals from different sectors.

The Challenge

A disruptive proposal to connect 30 startups with the business world and the agents that form part of it.

In collaboration with Sónar, MIGRATION promoted and organised the Sónar+D Startup Garden, a business space dedicated to creative technologies. Following an international call for entries, this event was attended by 30 carefully selected startups linked to the artistic and creative world. In addition, 30 mentors and 32 world-renowned investment funds confirmed their attendance, including Edge, Spotify and Telegraph Hill.

The solution

Creation of an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and exchange of ideas. Promotion of advisory and mentoring activities.

Additionally, at the congress itself, MIGRATION organised and moderated a panel on the collaboration of startups with large corporations and a workshop on the Business Model Canva methodology.

The solution is, in this case, the connection between startups and mentors capable of advising and helping small organisations to focus their project in an effective way, thus being able to obtain funding.
